Many times, the Quran presents us with a pair of situations.
Sometimes, we can choose one side and Allah ﷻ with His grace will accommodate us. And other times, we have no choice but to focus on one side and forget about the other. An example of the latter is:
"Say, 'I am only a human like you, to whom has been revealed that ....'", [Quran 18:110].
Here we have a pair:
(A) I am only a human like you (قُلۡ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۟ بَشَرٌ۬ مِّثۡلُكُمۡ), and
(B) to whom has been revealed that (يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ).
Shaykh Salah El Din (r.a.a.) teaches us that the first part (A) is for those Christians who worshiped Jesus ﷺ (*), and that is not for us. We can't think of the Prophet ﷺ as "but a human like us" and certainly we can't treat him ﷺ as such. We can fall into Kufr this way (**).
For us, we have no choice but to focus on the second part (B) and treat him ﷺ with the utmost reverence, a reverence equal to his immense position and grandeur.
(*) And who might worship the Prophet ﷺ.
(**) Remember [Quran 24:63] and [Quran 49:2].
